Tumbarumba Becomes Highest Earning Louisiana-Bred

BLOODHORSE- Tumbarumba  became the all-time highest earning Louisiana-bred racehorse Feb. 14 after finishing third in the $20 million Saudi Cup (G1) at King Abdulaziz Racecourse, the world’s richest race. The 6-year-old gelding’s earnings climbed to $3,210,433, surpassing the late Free Like a Girl. Tumbarumba competed in a stellar international field of 13, finishing only behind Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1) winner Forever Young  and Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile (G1) winner Nysos.
